Joshua Hermanson, DMD
Dr. Hermanson loves helping people accomplish their dental goals, whether this involves getting them out of pain, becoming more confident in their smile, or both! Dentistry can do amazing things in relatively little time, and he enjoys telling patients about all the different ways he can make them feel and look their absolute best.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
When Dr. Herman first considered dentistry as a career in college, he ended up shadowing Dr. Dimke here at Riverside Dental Center! Seeing the relationships he had with his patients, along with how much art and science as part of the job, quickly let him know that this profession (and our practice) was the right place for him.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Hermanson attended the University of Iowa and went on to graduate from the Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine. Always striving to learn and improve himself, he is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Winnebago County Dental Society.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Hermanson and his wife were married in 2020, and they now have a young daughter as well as a rescue German Shepherd. When he isn’t spending time with his girls, he likes to play golf and take care of his lawn.
