Corey Konieczki, DMD
Dr. Konieczki says that changing someone’s smile for the better requires just as much artistic skill as it does applied science, and that’s the most interesting part of the job for him. Creating something that looks good, feels good, and functions well is endlessly interesting, and seeing how it can improve someone’s life offers a tremendous level of satisfaction.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Konieczki attended Marquette University before going on to the University of Pennsylvania to earn his post-baccalaureate certificate. He eventually graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Before dental school, he gained plenty of real-world knowledge working as a dental assistant, and he’s now taken many hours of advanced training through Spear Education. To stay on top of the latest advancements in the field, he’s a member of the American Dental Association and Illinois State Dental Society.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
A Division 1 golfer while at Marquette, Dr. Konieczki still loves to play and is a frequent participant in various tournaments. To relax, you’ll often find him fishing or reading, with sci-fi/fantasy books being his favorite.
