Peter Zammuto, DMD
For over 10 years, Dr. Zammuto has built relationships while building smiles, because he believes that great dentistry comes from a strong relationship between the doctor and patient. He looks forward to learning about what you hope to accomplish by visiting us and sharing all the ways he can make it happen.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Zammuto’s dad was a dentist, so he literally grew up around the profession. His father loved what he did and who he served, and this was all the motivation Dr. Zammuto needed to follow in his footsteps.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
A graduate of Rockford College and the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Zammuto has dedicated several hours to professional development since finishing school. To date, he has completed continuing education focused on endodontics (root canal treatment) and is a certified Invisalign provider. On top of this, he is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Winnebago County Dental Society.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Zammuto and his wife, Kelsey, have three children: Joseph (JJ), Braydon, and Aubree. Together, they like to enjoy the outdoors, fish, and watch/play various sports. Fun fact: Dr. Zammuto once got to play basketball with Michael Jordan—we’ll let him tell you how he fared!
